What data we process
When you book an appointment online, we process your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, chosen service, appointment, language and any note. We use this data to carry out your appointment, remind you of it and ask for your feedback afterwards. With your consent at booking, we also use it for GYAN Hair Salon's own marketing, such as offers by email. You can withdraw this consent at any time by email or phone. To prevent wrong addresses, we send a code to your email address before booking.
Service providers
Hosting: Vercel Inc. Database: Neon Inc. (EU region). Email delivery: Resend Inc. Data processing agreements are in place with these providers; data is only transferred abroad with appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We delete appointment data no later than 24 months after the appointment, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Cookies
This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Only your language choice is stored and, after code confirmation, a cookie so you don't have to confirm your email again for 6 months.
Loyalty card
For the loyalty card we store, with your email address, every stamp and every redeemed reward with its date and type (visit, invitation, Google review, birthday, correction with reason) so that the balance stays traceable. We also store a random code for your QR code and your personal invite link. If you invite someone, we store who invited whom. If you open an invite link, your browser keeps the code in a cookie for 30 days. For the birthday gift we use the date of birth from your bookings. If you add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the terms of these providers also apply. On request we delete your card with all stamps.

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data at any time. Just send us an email.
